Let me just start with this: Do Not Disturb is the first Freida McFadden book I’ve ever read — and I can already tell it won’t be the last. In fact, I’m now officially on what I like to call a McFadden quest: to read every single thriller this brilliant author has written. And after finishing this one? I’m all in.

Do Not Disturb follows Quinn, a woman with a mysterious past and a lot to hide. After making a very permanent decision about the man who abused her, she goes on the run — and that’s just the beginning. She ends up in a strange little town where things are… off. But Quinn’s secrets aren’t the only ones lurking in the shadows.

This book delivers layer upon layer of suspense, tension, and shocking reveals. Every chapter pulls you deeper into the mystery, and just when you think you have it all figured out — BAM. Freida McFadden pulls the rug right out from under you.

What I Loved

Let’s talk about that twist. I pride myself on spotting plot twists from a mile away. But this one? Completely blindsided me. I had my theories, my suspicions, and I was following every breadcrumb… but Freida McFadden masterfully led me in one direction, only to turn the story upside down in the final act.
